Meet the founder, Neeta Laing
Laing Legal was originally formed by Neeta Laing, a fully qualified solicitor with over 20 years’ post qualification experience, including:
- Training as a solicitor and qualification at global law firm DLA Piper.
- Over six years (including at Associate level) at DWF solicitors.
- Partner at Lewis Hymanson Small Solicitors where she headed up the employment department.
- Industry experience gained prior to qualification as a managerial grade buyer at BT and within the NHS.
Neeta has successfully prepared and secured high level tenders, identifying and sourcing new work with a natural entrepreneurial and enterprising flair. She has developed innovative employment offerings for clients, responding to changes in both the economy and client requirements.
Her experience of employment matters is significant and she has handled many complex matters on a contentious and non-contentious basis.
Neeta has conducted monthly employment training seminars for clients and has spoken at national conferences. She has contributed numerous articles to trade journals and the press on topical employment matters.
